Special Fund Raising Event, week of Dec 1st through Dec 8th!

Every year I try to support a special event put on by Orange County Vajra Vidya in support of Thrangu Rinpoche’s Shree Mangal Dvip Boarding Schools and Tara Abbey in Nepal. This event is an annual Bazaar and Fundraiser that is being held this year on December 9, 2012 from 1PM to 4 PM. Here are the What and When information: What? Holiday Bazaar - huge variety of gifts, silent auction and more When? Sunday, December 9, 2012, 1PM to 4 PM Where? Oasis Senior Center, Room 3 - 801 Narcissus Avenue, Corona del Mar More info? Contact Signe Keller at signekeller@cox.net I will be attending and I hope you can join us as well, there really are some very nice things for sale and it is a wonderful group of people, and if you have any interest in meditation, this is a group you should know about. All proceeds go to this great cause. Additionally, I am making Yoga in the Park’s classes, the whole week prior to the event (Dec 1st through Dec 8th), donation based. That means I am asking everyone that week to try and contribute each day that you come. All donations at my classes go to the Himalayan Children’s Fund, and those funds go to support 12 girls providing them with an education that they otherwise would not get. The funds from this week of giving will go toward special facilities projects that are needed at the Abbey and the Schools.
