Touch 101 Class was canceled due to my illness

If you have interest in a future class check out the regular details below:

I am just getting ready to start a new class for Touch 101. I like to
have 4 to 6 people for the class. If you are interested I am
considering doing classes in the future. Let me know if you
have any interest. Also, let me know if you have any friends that you think would
like to take it with you, as you can see the class size is small so it
usually fills quickly. The recommended donation would be $75 and
includes all supplies and a work book for you to keep.

I had a large interest in the prior Touch 101 massage classes as
they filled quickly many of you were unable to attend. This class
will be the same, maybe even better, as we have learned form the
earlier classes things that should make this one that much stronger.
There will only be 6 slots for each class.

This class will start at 10:30am on
a given day and go till about 4:30pm that day. If you like
massage, and like to give as well as receive, this is a class for you.
The class is held at my home and we will be working on massage
tables. While I will be offering couples classes in the future this
class is limited to women only. If you took one of the prior Touch
classes and would like to take this class you are welcome as
well ( repeat participants pay only $50).

This is a small class , in a workshop approach, with lots of hands on
in the proper techniques of massage. All proceeds will go to Tara
Abbey Schools, "Himalayan Children's Fund". Final Space in the
class can only be confirmed upon the receipt of your donation. If you
have any questions please email me or talk to me at yoga.

Rain day location (Club House)

Our inside location for those not so nice weather days is the club house at Laguna Terrace Mobil Home Park. This is right across the street from the Montage Resort(see directions below). We will switch to the club house on any day where it is raining or is projected to rain. This blog site will always have the exact location for each practice if there are changes to Moulton Meadows. If you have any question please feel free to ask, email or phone (949-494-9928).

Directions - From North Laguna, turn left at Montage Resort signal. Make an immediate left and go past the Chabad Center. Make a slight right as you enter Laguna Terrace Park mobile home neighborhood. Continue up the hill until you see the clubhouse/pool. Park in front of pool.

Carl's photo

Carl came to yoga after a long 20 year love affair with running, he raced competitively as an age group runner and ran the Boston Marathon 3 times over a 10 year period, through his years of running he has learned to deal with injuries and has a special sense as to the bodies requirements and how to work with limitations. His initial introduction to yoga has led him from the purely physical into a fully rounded practice that encompasses the whole body, mind and spirit, providing a path for his day to day life. Carl has a strong Vinyasa/Power Yoga style daily personal practice that he has developed over the last 8 years. Since his departure from the corporate world almost five years ago, he has dedicated himself to his yoga teaching. He completed the Yoga Studies and the Buddhist studies programs at the University of California, Irvine, as well as the comprehensive Teacher Training at Sacred Movement in Venice, CA, with Max Strom and Sherry Brourman. He has completed in excess of 388 hours of training under the guidelines for registration with Yoga Alliance. Carl teaches all levels and adopts his classes to fit the unique requirements of his students. Carl also has a strong interest in Bodywork. Carl currently teaches five classes a week in Laguna Beach, and the occasional private lessons. Three of Carl’s classes in Laguna Beach are open free classes for the community. The other classes are donation based classes that support Tara Abbey in Nepal. Teaching yoga is his true passion, and his way of giving back for all that yoga has brought to his life. Carl integrates his love for yoga with his love for bodywork into an opportunity to better help the people that take his classes.
